Which trunk lift support (stuts) to buy?
I have a 2002 Dodge Stratus 4cyl Sedan and I am trying to buy the lift support (struts) for the trunk but I don’t know which to buy. They have 2 kinds, one for cars with spoilers and the other without. My car doesn’t have a spoiler but the ones for cars with spoilers are a bit cheaper on the website I went to.
My questions are… what is the difference between the two? why is it more for cars without spoilers? if I buy the ones for cars with spoilers would it fit/work on my car? the one thats made for the trunk lid with a spoiler will have more holding weight capacity. why is it cheaper? i do not know, its marketing, none of it makes sense, it costs them 80 cents to build it and they charge roughly 15, go figure.
you can always try using the ones for cars with spoilers and if it doesnt workout, return it and get the other ones.
